Once upon a time in Christmas Village on Christmas Eve Santa was getting ready to deliver presence. Santa was hard at work loading his sleigh with toys and goodies. Rudolph wanted to play with Santa but he couldn't because he was too busy. So Rudolph got mad because he wasn't paying attention to him and Rudolph rushed towards Santa with his antlers and knocked Santa into the chimney. Santa was stuck!
Rudolph rushed off to get Mr. Williams, because he thought Mr. Williams was one of the only ones on the nice list. After Rudolph picked up Mr. Williams, Rudolph wasn't paying attention to where he was going, and Mr. Williams fell down to the earth.
"Oops!" Rudolph said, "I think I dropped Mr. Williams!"
Rudolph swooped down towards the earth to save Mr. Williams from falling on the ground. But Mr. Williams legs got twisted backwards. Mr. Williams could not travel with Rudolph to the North Pole.
Carmen, a third-grader, heard Mr. Williams' scream near her bedroom window. She quickly sprinted out the door of her house to see what was the matter. Carmen saw Mr. Williams on the freezing cold snow crying. She asked him what happened? With a bright red face and tears dropping out of his eyes, Mr. Williams told Carmen he was on his way to Christmas Village with Rudolph to help save Christmas, but now he couldn't because he was too hurt. Mr. Williams and Rudolph decided that Carmen could go to Christmas Village with Rudolph and help Santa and save Christmas.
Carmen climbed on the back of Rudolph and flew over the head of Mr. Williams and her house and went to the North Pole to save Christmas. Carmen arrived in Christmas Village and saw a red and white winter coat with two legs sticking out of the chimney.
"Santa, what happened?" Carmen asked.
All Carmen could hear were the words, "HELP ME!" So Carmen grabbed Santa's boots and yanked him out of the Chimney. Santa began to chuckle "ho, ho, ho, thank you Ms. Carmen, you helped me get out of the Chimney. I'll always remember this! I'll give you the present you've always wanted for Christmas." "Thank you," Carmen said, "but first we need to help Mr. Williams. I left him in the freezing snow with a hurt leg." And that's how Carmen helped save Christmas, Santa, and Mr. Williams all in one night.
